What to expect!?

Golf-

  • The field will consist of up to 144 players, shotgun style, texas scramble format.

  • You will have the opportunity to purchase Raffle tickets & mulligans online during registration or at check-in the morning of.

  • Live DJ on the course with a complimentary crush bar

  • On-course events:

    • hole heckler

    • golf ball air cannon

    • Drunk-Goggles Par 3 challenge ($50 to guarantee a par, or keep your teams score played with the goggles on).

    • putting contest (An assortment of bottles will be spread out across the putting green. Aim at your bottle of choice & if you hit it, you take it home!)

    • hole-in-one contest (car prize)

    • longest drive contest

    • closest to the pin Contest

    • pot-of-gold Contest (land your tee shot on the green to enter your name into the pot-of-golf for a chance to be drawn as the winner during awards)

    • Par 5 tee shot by long drive professional

Food & Beverage-

Awards Reception-

  • Winners will be announced & prizes awarded, Raffles will be drawn, sponsors will be recognized & a message from the RMHC Maryland will take place. Plenty of time for Networking before and after!

FAQs

  • Food, beverages, cart/greens fees, and prize-awarding hole contests (closest to the pin, long drive, pot of gold & hole-in-one) are included with the purchase of your foursome.

    Tips to the golf course staff are greatly appreciated ;)

    Mulligans & raffle tickets will be available to purchase online during registration, as well during check-in the morning of.

    This is a charity fundraiser. On-course special events (hole heckler, drunk-goggle challenge, golf ball air cannon, long-drive professional, glass-break challenge, etc.) will be collecting donations in exchange for participation.

  • Scramble, or if you really know your golf vocab, Texas Scramble, is the format of play for this event.

    WTF is a Texas Scramble?!

    Played with four-person teams, each player hits their own tee shot every hole. One of the tee shots is selected and all the players play their second shots from that spot. One of the second shots is then selected, and all players play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. This format DOES also apply to par 3’s, in our case.

    The Texas part of the scramble requires a minimum number of tee shots of each member of the team to be used during the round. In our case, just 1!

  • Please abide by the Mountain Branch Golf Course dress code -

    “Mountain Branch does maintain a proper dress code. Men can wear slacks or shorts that are tailored and have pockets. Shirts with with collars or mock necks are required as well.
    Women may wear collard or mock neck shirts with or without sleeves.
    Golf shoes with soft spikes or tennis shoes are required.

    No one will be permitted to play wearing tank tops, T-shirts, cut-offs, jeans, bathing suits, gym shorts, sweat suits, or other clothes deemed inappropriate by the Pro Shop Staff. Individuals who do not abide by the dress code will not be permitted to play.”

  • At this time, we will only be selling foursomes. However, you do not need to have a team ready in order to register! If you’re worried about reserving your spot, you will be able to register your foursome, and edit the player information at a later time.

    Want to play but need help completing your team? Let us know and we’ll do our best to pair you with others looking for teammates.

    Only have 3 players? One of your team members drop out at the last minute? That’s okay! Simply rotate the player who hits the 4th shot :)

  • A full refund will be issued to cancellations processed by Sunday, May 25th, 2025.

    All cancellations processed after Sunday, May 25th, 2025 will only be issued a 50% refund.
